 Bob Rivers Show Staff

Luciana Bosio, Associate Producer for The Bob Rivers Show, was born in Santa Fe, Argentina and came with her husband, Pedro, to the USA to study broadcasting and speak English at the same time. They enrolled in Green River Community College and they started going on air in KGRG, where they hosted La Revolucion and Minority Report. Luciana was the host of Jaime y Luciana por la Manana in the then only 24-hour Spanish radio station in the Puget Sound. When the station changed format, Luciana was let go. That station has never been able to get good ratings again. After this bad experience Luciana was hired as the Bob Rivers Show newest Associate Producer. The best job she's ever had! Luciana and Pedro love radio so much, that on the weekends they buy hours in a small multicultural radio station where they host Antes del Mediodia with other friends.

In her free time, Luciana likes to work on web pages, audio and video - not an expert, but at least a fan! Luciana's participated in various marathons and even though she has not run them, she can at least walk for many hours. On a hot summer evening, Luciana says, there's nothing better that a very cold glass of beer... Santa Fe style!

Spike and Joe are both having slight issues with their daughters, and just how honest they should be, especially in situations where it could hurt their feelings. Listen to the audio segment on our site about it, then tell us what YOU think: Should we be honest with our kids, or are there situations that necessitate a gentler approach that may involve lying?
It's our JOB to lie to our kids! It's a violent, unfair world out there, and they have the rest of their lives for hurt and disappointment. As parents, the least we can do is protect them from even the tiniest of disappointments!
Honesty is always the best policy! Lie to them now and they'll grow up thinking the world revolves around fairness and THEM. Don't baby them now- cause you'll have a hell of a teenager to deal with, and society has to deal with them as adults.
